Jim Allen – Chief Executive Officer 

As the founder of the company, Jim has been there since the beginning. He is certified as a master electrician, but now spends his days ensuring clients receive value on every project.




Dave Tarkowski – Chief Operations Officer 

Dave has been with Jatec since 1997 and now helps steer the growth of the organization as the Chief Operations Officer. Dave holds a Journeyman Electrical Trade certification and managed many large scale projects before moving full-time to the office. Dave's field background has been instrumental in his success as he oversees all aspects of Jatec’s diverse operations including subdivision, commercial development and highway infrastucture projects.



Darby Brewer - Manager, HR and Safety 

Darby oversees all aspects of HR and Safety for Jatec, and has been with the team since 2005. Darby holds his Bachelor in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and is a certified National Construction Safety Officer from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. 



Jeff Allen – Manager of Maintenance & Support Services

Jeff has been part of the Jatec team since 2005. He holds a diploma in Industrial Heavy Equipment Technology and a red seal Heavy Equipment Technician licence.




Alexander Stenner – Sr. Project Manager

Alexander is a veteran with Jatec, having been with the company since 1997. He is a journeyman electrician with his Master Electrician designation and is in the process of obtaining his Professional Electrical Contractor designation.



Robert (Rob) Medynski – Sr. Project Manager

Rob joined Jatec in early 2010 as a Sr. Project Manager. Beginning his education at NAIT through their Instrumentation Engineering Technologist course, Rob is certified as an instrumentation technician and a journeyman electrician.
